Best of luck to the Greenwave. Bring it home to the LPD. The people in Region D couldn't ask for a classier representative in the Division 1 State Game tomorrow. Rick Mullins runs a great program and the kids play the game the way it was meant to be played. This is one fan that's driving three hours to scream his head off for Clintwood tomorrow. Haven't been to a football game at Salem, so I don't know about the seating capacity. It will have to be pretty big to accommodate all of the Gate City fans on one side.

I hope that the players have their focus squarely on the target. I'll be getting up at about 530 in the morning, heading on the road about 6.

I probably won't sleep, haven't the last 2 weeks on Friday night, but if we play to our capability, then that is all we can do, and the chips will fall wherever they will.

Buffalo Gap is undefeated and while earlier you could mention their competition hadn't been great, they have beaten good teams the last couple weeks, so to me that is out the windows.

It's been very nice to hear the well wishes from almost everybody, from practically every team in the region. Bitter enemies have been strong supporters. That's what this all about.

Just to shock the world, I'll even be yelling for Gate City as long as I'm there. I hope thatthey can stun people by beating Gretna. To everybody, Gretna is Goliath. Last I remember, Goliath not only didn't cover the spread, he suffered the straight up upset.

So here it is, a little over 3 hours and it will be Saturday. Hopefully the local teams, Richlands, Gate City and of course Clintwood, can bring 3 state titles back to this area.
